The sun-dried groundnut seeds are crushed at room temperature without the use of external heat to create cold-pressed groundnut oil naturally.
"Cold pressing" describes the mechanical procedure of removing oil from oil seeds while they are still at room temperature. So-called cold pressed groundnut oil is the result of naturally obtaining groundnut oil through the cold pressing process.
The traditional cold pressing process is crushing the sun-dried groundnuts and applying pressure to extract the oil without the use of any chemicals, preservatives, or external heat.
Sun-dried ground nut oil, an excellent source of plant sterols, reduces the risk of heart disease and is high in antioxidants, which helps to prevent cancer. MUFA are abundant in wood-pressed groundnut oil. Trans fat is not present.
